The Centre for Architecture Belgrade is an independent organisation, acting as the national centre for sustainable development in the field of architecture, urban planning, habitation and related areas.

As part of the project Belgrade Brutalism, Gallery Kolektiv and Centre for Architecture organized a discussion panel entitled

Women in Architecture: Contemporary Architecture in Serbia Since 1900.

This book by the Centre for Architecture Belgrade showcases the work and experiences of women architects in Serbia since the beginning of the 20th century until today.

The topic of Belgrade International Architecture Week 2014 is Public Spaces, dealing with the content, meaning, interactive nature and formal values which define urban spaces. Centre for Architecture Belgrade participated in BINA 2014 with three events.

The first international academic conference Places and Technologies 2014 was held at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade on April 3rd and 4th 2014. The Centre for Architecture Belgrade was the official new media partner. Also, we presented two papers entitled "The Impact of Smart Home Technologies on Architectural Design" and "Google Earth as a Microworld".

In cooperation with Cubo Control company from Belgrade, we have prepared a comprehensive overview of domotics – home automatization. We aim to make this topic more familiar to designers – architects, interior designers, HVAC, plumbing and electrical engineers, but also to investors/developers and end-users.

CAB presented a paper on the information platform of the Centre for Architecture at the International Conference On Architecture. The conference was held at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Belgrade, from 9th to 11th of December 2013.

Centre for Architecture Belgrade through the initiative Women in architecture - a series of articles and interviews - features some of the influential women of Serbian architectural history and contemporary practice. We intended to contribute to the global discussion on the topic of women and women's influence on architecture through a presentation of the feminine side of Serbian architecture.

Centre for Architecture Belgrade's project Juveline Detention Facility Kruševac, Serbia has been nominated for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture - Mies van der Rohe Award 2013.
